darlink-ai.io is an editorial site: no accounts, no comments, no user-generated content. The scope of data handling below is genuinely narrow because there is no product infrastructure behind the pages, only a set of static articles.

The short answer first

Nothing identifiable is collected on this side of the fence. No email addresses, no names, no phone numbers, no account details, because there is no signup. Standard web-server logs record request metadata (IP address, page requested, referrer, browser string, timestamp) for security and performance. Third-party analytics may run in aggregated form. Outbound CTAs to DarLink AI or an alternative platform may include an affiliate tracking parameter that is opaque to this site. Everything else on this page is detail.

What the server sees

Every request to darlink-ai.io produces a routine log entry: your IP address, the URL you asked for, the HTTP referrer, your user-agent string, and a timestamp. Logs are retained for a short window (around 30 days) for security incident review, abuse detection and performance debugging. They are not sold, licensed, shared with third parties beyond the hosting infrastructure, or enriched with anything else. When the retention window closes, the logs are purged.

Cookies and browser storage

The site itself sets one persistent value in your browser: an age-gate acknowledgement, stored in localStorage under a short boolean key (dl_age_ok). That value only records the fact that you confirmed you are 18+. It carries no identifier and follows you nowhere else. Clearing site data or using a different browser resets it, and the age gate reappears on next visit.

Third-party services embedded on the site (Google Fonts for typography, and any analytics or affiliate tools currently in use) may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. Those cookies are not controlled by darlink-ai.io and are subject to the third party's own terms.

Third-party services in use

Google Fonts. The site loads Bricolage Grotesque, Instrument Sans and Space Mono from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Loading involves a request to Google's servers, which will see your IP address and user-agent. Google's own privacy notices apply to that request.

Analytics. Aggregate audience measurement may be present in cookie-free or anonymised form. If a cookie-based analytics tool is in use at any point, it runs under its vendor's privacy notice. This site does not enrich analytics data with any personal identifier, because none is collected.

Affiliate networks. Outbound CTAs on the main DarLink AI page may include a tracking parameter so the destination platform can attribute the click. The parameter is opaque to darlink-ai.io: it does not carry your identity, and this site sees only that a click happened and returns you to reading.

What this site refuses to do

• No signups, no accounts, no logins.
• No comments, no user profiles, no user-generated content of any kind.
• No newsletter, no marketing email collection.
• No cross-site tracking pixels beyond what a linked affiliate network might attach at the destination platform.
• No behavioural profile of any individual visitor. There is no data structure for one.

Data transfers

Static hosting means content is served from a content delivery network with global edge locations. Depending on your location, a page load may be served from a node in a different jurisdiction from where the site is registered. No personal data is transferred by darlink-ai.io itself in that flow, because none is collected. Third-party services (Google Fonts, any analytics vendor) may transfer data internationally under their own terms.

Retention

Server access logs are retained for around 30 days, then purged. The localStorage age-gate flag persists in your browser until you clear site data. Nothing else is retained on this side of the fence because nothing else is collected.

Rights under GDPR, UK GDPR and CCPA

Readers in the EU/EEA, the UK, California and jurisdictions with equivalent frameworks hold rights of access, correction, deletion and portability over any personal data a controller holds about them. Because darlink-ai.io does not hold personal data linked to an identifiable person, most such requests are moot: there is no record to hand over, correct or delete. Children

The site is 18+ only. No steps are taken to solicit or accept minors, and the age gate on entry is the primary access control. Full detail on the adult-access model sits on the age verification page. Nothing on the site is aimed at readers under 18.

Substantive changes are dated on this page and reflected in the schema dateModified. Where a change affects a reader materially, a plain-language summary appears on the editorial policy correction log. Cosmetic edits and typo fixes are not logged.
